Some pages are not properly aligned on mobile devices (David B)
We will deal with mobile page layouts after the standard browser layouts are fully defined and fixed.
Giving page goes nowhere (Paul A)
This requires a backend subscription service we will not be using for the time being. It is a feature to consider for Phase 2. I’ve hidden this page for now.
Faith Bible Fellowship does not show up in the mobile Our Church app (Chip H)
I think this will only be enabled after we change the website status from development to online status.
There are only a few sermons available (Chip H)
We’ve only load a sampling of sermons to see what sermon features we need and how to organize them, After the Sermon settings are fully configured, we can load all of 2021 before we go live. However, we will have to manually backfill sermons for previous years after that, so this is a great opportunity to serve!
Captcha function not working for making contact (Diane H)
Reported issue with the Captcha function (anti-spam measure). Will check on this, Diane.
Ministries page updates needed. (Team)
The project team decided to break up the Ministries page into multiple pages grouped by functions. The new layout will use a more relaxed layout with circular pictures. Ministry leads: We will need short description of the purpose and activities of each ministry, approximately 100 words.
The intended purpose of the speaker and staff bios is to give a general background for each person, similar to the introductions provided prior to their first appearance at FBF. We’ve never had this option before and had nothing to start with. The bios created are generally based on information available via social media, so they may have a current bias toward professional and academic activities, but there’s not a set format. Some have suggested adding a brief personal testimony, a personal mission statement or ministry passion, or a favorite scripture, or omitting the bio altogether. But, please share if you have thoughts. [Note, Jim Hight’s bio is a special case already referred to the elders.]
