Similar to skeptical Nazarenes when Jesus preached in his hometown people have difficulty accepting changes in people they know well when they become a disciple of Christ. What is it that we must give up and surrender to Christ to be his disciple, not so much to show to others, but so that Jesus can us use for His purposes?
